A message sent by dad ?

Today , a few dragon flies were hovering over my head , making loud sounds that made me dart for safety instantly . I mistook it for  the buzzing sounds of swarming bees , What a relief too see that they were just red dragonflies ! An unusual sight , though it is not the first time  I see these red species ! I used to have a small pond in the yard , it was a regular sight  then ! 


Dragonflies are most powerful  under the effects of warmth and sunlight. They are fantastic flyers, darting like light, twisting, turning, changing direction, even going backwards . They are inhabitants of two realms - starting with water, and moving to the air with maturity, but staying close to water.

Dragonflies are often represented in chinese & Japanese paintings, representing new light and joy. To some Native Americans they are the souls of the dead. 



Symbolic meanings of the dragonfly:

• prosperity
• good luck
• strength
• peace
• harmony
• purity

Its just my wishful thinking , believing what the native Americans believe  , could the dragonflies represent  a message sent by my  beloved dad ( with our ancestors ) to us ? It is very heart warming if it is true ,a symbol from dad that he is here with us . Just yesterday , mum was talking about whether all our offerings had been received by dad . In this respect , mum and my second brother have earnestly taken care of that .

I Love you , dad ! May your soul rest in peace ! May you live in eternal happiness foerever and ever ! Please send all of us messages , we want to know you are watching over us !
